Strengthening the capacity of SVGCF and CSOs in St. Vincent and the Grenadines to address environmental and sustainable livelihood challenges
On September 2nd 2021 the SVGCF entered a partnership agreement with the Inter- American Foundation to support the work of grassroot organizations here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The grant is part of the IAF wider Covid response support to the Caribbean and Latin america. With funding from the Inter- American Foundation (IAF), Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Conservation Fund (SVGCF)’s will support Civil Society Organizations in the conservation, restoration, and effective management of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines biodiversity and natural resources. The grant would also improve the SVGCF’s ability to communicate efficiently to stakeholders.
The SVGCF will manage a subgrant fund for Civil Society Organizations(CSOs) working on projects in the areas of sustainable agriculture, community based tourism, enterprise development, institutional strengthening, environmental conservation, or other areas that strengthen and promote environmentally- based community development.
